Let’s end the week with something more serene to help us wind down from the various shows and album release hype mongering. This is a single from Norwegian singer songwriter Kari Rueslåtten who many will know from her early work with the experimental doom band 3rd and the Mortal, a project that played a crucial role in the early days of the metal scene – inspiring many future bands to be inclusive of female singers. The single “Sørgekåpe” is the title track of the forthcoming album Sørgekåpe out May 8, 2020.
