KATATONIA release video for “The Winter Of Our Passing” and announce live stream

Heavy News by Katha

Last week, KATATONIA released their highly anticipated album City Burials, which stands as new triumph of deep, progressive rock. It has come to be a rejuvenating, stirring and profound chapter in the band’s legacy – a catalyst for the burdens of its creators, a collection of moments constructed out of the fragments of an evolving life.

CarcassBomb had the great pleasure to talk with Jonas Renske before, and you can read his detailed interview HERE.

Now, the band published a stunning video for “The Winter Of Our Passing”. Check it out:

Jonas states: ”The Winter of Our Passing – masterly percieved by Costin Chioreanu (Twilight 13 Media). The letting go of what once was of great importance, now reduced to just another loss. Let’s bow before the flame we’ve all deserted. But thank you for listening.”

And they come up with another announcement: The band will be streaming a live performance on May 9th from Sweden’s Studio Grondahl, including the live premiere of 3 new songs from City Burial. Even if this happens because to the sad fact that festivals and shows had to be postponed / cancelled due to the current pandemic, it is a great chance for fans worldwide to join this event.
