I really like this idea of “lofi doom”. I completely understand it in black metal and have heard enough to care less about it these days. Doom on the other hand tickles me just right, the result is a sound that is somewhere between experiment and ritual. The part that sells it for me are the vocals or rather, the anti-vocals. They sound like another instrument gan awry and that works perfectly on this tape and generally lends it’s self to the medium. It gives that indiscernible but darkly present vibe like you’d hear on some of Portal’s work.

This a DIY sort of deal by a duo with a pretty cool idea so I’d recommend supporting them on bandcamp. The artwork by Azi Hariramdani (@Gozien_Crayon) on the cover is cool, definitely sells the whole image and title. Check their other art out as well.
